This is such a sweet play. And for those of us that grew up as an outsider, misunderstood, it is singing our song. And what a song it is. On the surface, it is about a little girl who is bullied, scared and unsure of herself. Underneath its about the journey to find our voice. Such a good play. Do yourself a favor and read it. Now! Read it right now!!

BETH – Age 7. Sensitive, thoughtful, struggles with speech sometimes but still expressive.

CHESTER – An anthropomorphic “Nightfly.” Street-wise, fast-talking, warmhearted. A little goofy. Not scary once you know him.

MOM – Kind, practical, loving.
