Having lived in Florida my whole life, I know a thing or two about preparing for hurricanes. But nothing compares to the power that these three women have of working together! I enjoyed the characters and the story very much! There were moments where I was fearing what would happen next! Such a wonderful yet persevering play! Great work Katherine!

The urgency is evident in this short piece, and Vellis does an excellent job of putting you in the historical scene. Living in Michigan, I've never had the experience of a hurricane, but after reading this, I now have a very good idea of what it was like to be in that harrowing situation. At the same time, great characters that you certainly relate to as you witness them trying to survive the elements. An excellent ten minute that should do very well in performances.

If you've ever lived through a hurricane, this short play depicts it really well. There's a sense of urgency, fear, and the need to do what seems impossible in the moment. My heart was racing as I read this play.
