The Kesey Protocol - A 10-Minute Play

  • Dan West: The Kesey Protocol - A 10-Minute Play

A Vietnam vet, fresh from war, arrives at the VA in his wheelchair for his benefits evaluation only to be met by a governmental apparatchik straight out of Joseph Heller’s Catch-22. As the two of them face off over a glass of hallucinogenic laced soda, it soon becomes apparent that the person who thinks they are steering the interview may be (and perhaps never was). A clever and insight two-hander comedy about power dynamics and the illusion of control.
