Lolly Ward

Lolly Ward grew up in Bethesda, MD, and moved west to attend Stanford University, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's in English and Creative Writing. As a member of The Actors' Gang theater, she opened Tim Robbins's Embedded in Los Angeles and toured with it to London and New York, where Robbins directed a film version at the Public Theater. Her plays include 72 Objects (semifinalist, O’Neill National Playwrights Conference; finalist, IATI Cimientos), Theory of Nothing (semifinalist, O’Neill National Playwrights Conference), Gone (finalist, Portland Civic Theatre Guild), and Mate (workshop, Eric Tucker and The Actors' Gang; produced by CalTech). She was a member of the LA-based Playwrights Union before moving to Oregon, where she co-founded LineStorm Playwrights and sat on the...
