Julieta Vitullo is a Seattle-based bilingual writer, playwright and typewriter artist born and raised in Argentina. Her novel La huella de tu nombre (“The Imprint of Your Name”) won the University of Mexico in San Antonio’s First Prize for a Novel Written in Spanish in the United States and is forthcoming in 2026 with Arte Público Press. She’s the author of the book Islas Imaginadas (2012), about the fictions written in the aftermath of the Malvinas/Falklands War, and the protagonist and co-script writer of the award-winning documentary film La forma exacta de las islas (2014).
