Alex Ledgewood

Alex Ledgewood is a comedian living in Chicago and originally from Dallas, involved in standup, improvisation, and voice acting. His work examines racial stereotypes and American mythologies with a distorted sense of language, and has been presented and funded by Arts Mission Oak Cliff, Black Revolutionary Theater Workshop, Bishop Arts Theatre Center, National New Play Network, Play Penn, Great Plains, Yale College, the University of Iowa, and the Dallas Office of Arts and Culture. He has been shortlisted for the Relentless Award, Many Voices Fellowship, and Princess Grace Fellowship.

Synopsis

An elderly gay moving out west rummages a nearby playground for a missing chunk of his brain. With the gate closing in an hour, he must convince the audience to watch his upcoming television show before he either loses too much blood or misses the plane. Whichever comes first.
