Nathan Dame is a playwright, composer, and screenwriter originally from Ogden, Utah, but is based in Brooklyn. He has had original plays and musicals developed by Roundabout Theatre Company, JAW Fest at Portland Center Stage, Goodspeed Musicals, Bucks County Playhouse, The New Group, Barrow Street Theater, In Absentia Productions, Creede Repertory Theatre, and has been produced by The New Ensemble (with A.R.T. and Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston), Woodshed Collective, and New York Theatre Experiment.
Besides several plays and TV pilots in the works, he is currently writing and workshopping a musical adaptation of Upton Sinclair's The Jungle with co-composer Rob Baumgartner.
