Madre de Dios was also nominated for The Smith Prize, The Arnold Weissberger New Play Award, The Bret Adams & Paul Reisch Foundation’s Idea Award for new plays, the Ollie Award, and the Venturous Fellowship. González De León received his MFA in Dramatic Writing in 2017 at Arizona State University.
