Somewhere in America, a town is about to be jolted awake by news crews and police tape. Something terrible has happened at a local gay nightclub. Shelley, a devoted mother of one, receives a frantic phone call from her teenaged son, Steve. He begs his mother to pick him up as soon as possible. A little after midnight, Shelley returns home, covered in blood.
