NANCY HOPPS is an emerging playwright with a background in healing and performing arts. In 2017, her one-woman piece, “End of the Rope” debuted in Eugene, Oregon (USA), then went on to have productions in Hollywood, Manila (Philippines), Canberra and Sydney (Australia), garnering Best Playwright, Festival Director’s Choice and Audience Favorite WINNER Awards, and was a finalist for Best Overall Production.
A number of her short plays have had readings/productions at home and abroad. Her first full-length, commissioned play, “Now, I Am Your Neighbor” (and/or its shorter touring version, “We Are Neighbors”), telling the true stories of local immigrants, has had well over 50 regional productions to date.
