Madeleine Jones is a theater-maker and filmmaker who was raised in a university theater, bringing her sense of imagination to rehearsals since birth. With a strongly rooted passion, she has interest in representing women-based stories. Through all her mediums, she has a vibrant tendency towards magical realism, where things are not always as they seem, with a sense of optimism.
Weaving narratives with interdisciplinary skills, she holds a BA in Theater with a musical theater focus and MA in film. With a good deal of teaching artist experience behind this, her works are playful yet profound; nurturing what can be when we believe in ourselves.
When she isn't on a set or stage, she is probably writing a new screenplay or theatrical script, hiking, or playing guitar.
