Nichole Palmietto

Nichole Palmietto is an Atlanta-based director and producer. She is proud to serve as the 2020-21 NNPN Producer in Residence at Horizon Theatre.

Nichole is the co-founder and executive artistic director of Found Stages, which builds community through innovative storytelling. Found Stages’ Frankenstein’s Funeral (which Nichole directed, conceived and co-wrote with Neeley Gossett, Annie Harrison Elliott and Addae Moon) was named one of the best plays of 2019 by ArtsATL. Nichole has presented on creating site-specific and immersive theatre at the Dramatists Guild Annual Conference (2018) and the Institute of Outdoor Theatre Conference Paul Green Seminar (2017).

She has been a member of the Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta class of 2019 and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation Observership Class of 2016-17. She was the resident director of Atlanta's Working Title Playwrights Ethel Woolson Lab in 2015-16.

Originally from the Texas coast, Nichole holds degrees in theatre and public relations from The University of Texas at Austin. She is an alumna of Actor’s Express Theatre’s directing internship program.
