Jeffrey N. Johnson’s first play, Affair at the Hotel Opal, was produced at the Potomac Playmakers 4th Annual One-Act Festival in Hagerstown, Maryland. His short story collection OTHER FINE GIFTS won an Ippy Award for Best Regional Fiction/Mid-Atlantic, and his novel THE HUNGER ARTIST was a finalist for the Library of Virginia’s People’s Choice Award. He has also been awarded the Andrew Lytle Fiction Prize from The Sewanee Review and a fellowship at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA).
