Shelby enjoys board/video games, writing, singing and artisan baking. Shelby made her debut as a playwright in the 10th annual Theatre Kalamazoo New PlayFest. She has studied dramatic writing under Jose Casas, Geoff Packard, Steve Feffer, and Susan Steinberg.
