Denise Simone is a founding member of Company of Fools in Hailey, ID and from 1996-2016 she served as its Co-Producing Artistic Director helping to guide the Company in becoming one of the leading arts organizations in the state. Her acting credits with COF include Barbara in August: Osage County, Veronica in God of Carnage, Margie in Good People, Polly in Other Dessert Cities, the one-woman shows The Syringa Tree and Shirley Valentine, and May in Fool for Love starring Bruce Willis. She was awarded the Idaho Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts in 2014 and an ICA Performing Arts Fellowship in 2018. In addition to her work as an actor, Denise also works as a director, voice actor, teacher, communications coach and arts consultant.
