Henri Sudy (they/them) is an early-career director, dramaturg, and actor. They are passionate about making theater and performance accessible to all, seeking art born from necessity and community; the kind of work that brings total unabashed joy — as well as deep relief — to its audience.
Originally from Oberlin, OH, Henri moved to NYC in January 2020 for an internship with One Year Lease Theater Company. They graduated from Otterbein University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theater in June 2020, and have been pursuing various projects, both as a director and [voice] actor, since.
Henri also continues to work on a project-basis with OYL, most recently as assistant director to the development workshop of their devised piece, "WAKE".
Currently they live in the Dallas-Fort Worth...
