Jackson is an actor, writer, director, and graduate of Purdue University where he studied acting and philosophy. As an actor, he has worked around the country at theaters like Berkeley Rep, Zach Theater, Florida Studio Theatre, and Kitchen Theatre Company. His play - Heaven - was winner of the Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette's 8th 10-minute Play Competition, winner of the Greenberg Playwrighting Competition at The Alley Theatre Company, and an Honorable Mention in Mixing it Up Productions' Emerging Playwrights Competition. Heaven was produced in October of 2021 as a part of the American Lives Theatre's Short Play Festival: American Identity and was produced in the spring of 2023 at The Alley Theatre Company.
