Rachel Leighson is an actor/playwright based in NYC and LA. She was named an Honorary Mention for the 2022 Jane Chambers Award for Feminist Playwriting for her play, "Little Egg, Big World." She has written commissions for Feminist Fairytales Radio Plays and Cultivate Theatre Project and placed as a semifinalist with Jewish Plays Project.

Her writing focuses on exploring gray morality through magical realism with a focus on female-centric stories. She hopes to find lessons in humor and horror in frivolity!
