Maxine Dillon is a playwright who is doing her part to Keep Austin Weird. Some of her work includes THE NEGROES HAVE RISEN, Small Planet, GIRLSWITHGUNS, and unbury your gays. Her plays have been developed by Playwrights Foundation, Playwrights Realm, Atlantic Theater Company, and Broad Theatre. She is a proud alumna of Ground Floor Theatre Writes and 24 Hour Plays: Nationals. She graduated with a degree in English from Yale University, where she spent more time in rehearsals than in the library. She is a first year MFA candidate in Playwriting at the University of Texas at Austin.
