When the sun fails to rise and monstrous Nightcrawlers overrun a small Appalachian town, a group of survivors converges at the Squished Inn bed and breakfast, led by Holly Hunter—a grieving Army veteran turned reluctant moral compass. As faith, science, power, and self-interest collide, old wounds surface: a mother’s devotion, a son’s fear, a preacher’s hunger for control, and outsiders desperate to survive. Cut off from escape and rescue, the characters confront not how to stop the end, but how to live inside it. NIGHTCRAWLERS is a tragic horror adventure play about leadership, belief, and what we owe one another when time is short and there is no dawn after dark.

WORKING DRAFT. TRINITY follows the fractured Cotton family across two timelines—one on the Hill of Los Alamos, the other in the vast Jornada del Muerto desert—as they chase escape, revelation, and each other. Ten years before the play’s present, brilliant and restless Chrissy schemes to stow away on the colony spaceship Trinity, desperate to flee a future she never chose. In the aftermath of her disappearance and their mother AJ’s death, her brother Charlie sets out into the desert to search for their long-vanished father, Gregory—now living among ascetic hermits who promise clarity but offer only more mystery.

As Charlie traverses a surreal, mythic landscape—meeting spectral pioneers, chatty colonists, and even a talking oryx—his journey becomes a reckoning with masculinity, abandonment, and the seductive power of origin stories. Meanwhile, AJ’s wry, theatrical narration reframes the family’s history, revealing the fierce, complicated love that bound—and broke—them.

A queer sci-fi epic braided with Americana, TRINITY explores the lies we inherit, the myths we chase, and the futures we dare to imagine when the world we were promised collapses beneath us.
