Kevin Stuart Brodie has been writing and publishing most of his adult life. He has published essays in the Santa Cruz Spectacle, Grassroots Economic Organizing (where he once served as contributing editor), and poetry in a number of publications including Sojourners. Kevin has done a number of poetry readings throughout southern New England. He has been twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
He has written five screenplays, two of which have been optioned, and has won eighteen different contests and festivals. Mr. Brodie has had three one act plays produced at the Playhouse on Park theater in West Hartford, Connecticut--two of which have produced in other venues, including a U.S. Army base in Germany. Another full length play, "Save the Man" was recently staged for a reading at the Ellington Room in New York, NY and he won the 2024 Tennessee Williams New Orleans Literary Festival one act play competition.
