Kirsten McCory

Kirsten studied creative writing and poetry at The Evergreen State College and The University of Washington. In the early 2000's she performed in several burlesque troupes and began to study acting at Freehold Theater Lab in Seattle. She began to write plays in 2009 collaborating on a devised piece. . She has applied herself to the craft of playwriting and continues to work on her acting artistry, which helps when writing for theater. She writes radio theater, short plays and monologues, and delights in using her imagination to reveal other realities.
She is a member of the Driftwood after dark playwright group and a member of the Dramatist's Guild.
