After the death of his grandmother, Phil invites his boyfriend and two friends up to her cabin to see the place one last time before it’s scheduled for demolition. However, as their stay progresses, and tensions rise, people begin to suffer sudden and severe attacks to their nervous system. With no signal, and the road too muddy to drive off in search of help, the four are forced to confront each other, and the mysterious forces that are robbing them of their bodily autonomy.

A patient at the Whitby Asylum for the Mentally Insane was found dead about a month ago. His name was Renfield, but before he died, no one really knew who he was. All anyone knew was that he was insane, he ate flies, and would rave about someone called “the Master”. So, when Dr. Seward asks a group of patients to speak before an anxious board of trustees following his death, the patients decide to present a play based on the last few weeks of Renfield’s life so he can be remembered as more than a man in a madhouse.
