This Is How You Capture the Light

by Kandace James

Synopsis

Big Grandmama is dead. Big Grandmama is dead. Now, Silvia's back in this house made up of memories. Memory is like a cord that stretches across time. Maybe it doesn't stretch, more like swells, like a body of water or music. On the other side of that memory, is her younger self, Silver, and her Big Grandmama is still alive. The house, like God, holds both sides in the palm of their hand.
