Jax Schuck

Jax Schuck is a theatre artist and filmmaker from North Texas currently based in Austin. He began directing his junior year of high school with a production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead by Tom Stoppard, soon followed by an original short satire entitled Entropy. He then founded the company Bliss Out Productions, with whom he produced and directed The Two-Character Play by Tennessee Williams. He is currently studying playwriting and directing at The University of Texas at Austin, where he has directed several productions including his original quaint surreal comedy The Tie, Cowboy Mouth by Sam Shepard and Patti Smith, and his original chamber epic All Engulfing. His work thus far has leaned towards evocative psychological dramas underscored by potent dread and surreal dark...
