Most recently he was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2026 FutureFest at Cleveland Playhouse and for the 2026 Ojai Playwrights Conference. His short plays have been staged and presented in readings as well as printed in literary magazines.
John is a Network Playwright at Chicago Dramatists and a proud member of the Dramatists Guild and Playwrights Center. He holds a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Illinois and earned an MFA in Writing for Stage and Screen from Lesley University.
