Dylan Antonio Perez

Dylan is a Cuban-American playwright, actor, theater and film multi-disciplinary artist proudly from New Jersey. He earned his B.A. from Fordham University at Lincoln Center. He will be attending the National Theater Institute’s Theatermakers Summer Intensive 2026 as a Playwright, for which he received the Miranda Family Scholarship. Recently, his play Vinho Generoso was named a finalist for the Latinx Playwrights Circle Intensive Mentorship Year Five in 2026. He has worked with and produced work at INTAR Theatre, Latinx Playwrights Circle, Teatro Latea, The Roaring Epiphany Production Company, Lark Play Development Center, Redhouse Arts Center, Chenango River Theatre, Chain Theatre NYC, Theaterlab NYC, Open Hydrant Theatre, and Fordham Studio Theatre at Fordham University. Synopsis

Vinho Generoso explores the family of a Portuguese winemaker. The audience witnesses the sweetest and most tender moments, along with the tragic and devastating ones. This is all captured within the world of a wine business owned by a family for generations. This play tells a story of loss, labor, illness, dreams, and sacrifices. Lastly, it tells the story of Portuguese wine.
