While I was born in Osaka, Japan, I've lived most of my life in Southern California. As an English teacher, I adapted short stories and scenes from novels into short dramatic pieces to be performed by Traveling Troubadours, a troupe formed by Drama Club students, to English classes at my high school. After retiring from teaching, I've taken playwriting classes taught by Diana Burbano at South Coast Repertory Theater in Costa Mesa, CA. I have five short plays and five full-length plays under my emerging playwright belt. Currently, i am a member of the Orange County Playwrights Alliance.

What would happen if women replaced the male characters in Waiting for Godot? Rather than fight, surely they would use their networking/social skills to get out of their predicament. And would they really wait for a man who seems to be ghosting them?
In this play, Stella Kowalski and Ismene meet somewhere in the space-time continuum to help each other wrestle with the essence of sisterhood. If you fail to help your sister, can you ever find redemption, much less an independent, fulfilling life? The characters encounter other literary sisters, as well as real women who also struggle with blame, identity, and paralysis.
