CHETA IGBOKWE (Born: Sixtus Chetachi Igbokwe) is a Nigerian playwright. He holds an MFA in Playwriting from the University of Iowa and a BA in English and Literary Studies from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of The Muse, the university's student journal. His works have appeared in The Hopkins Review, The English Academy Review, The Great River Review, and other publications. He is the winner of The Association of Nigerian Authors' (ANA) Prize for Drama 2021, for his debut drama, 'Homecoming,' which was also longlisted for The 2023 Nigeria Prize for Literature, Africa's largest literary award, where the judges described it as "philosophical and gravely entertaining."
