Robert Axelrod is a gay Jewish writer, originally hailing from Michigan, whose work explores the intersectionality of identity and culture. Robert was a finalist for the 2024 Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, and is a current member of both the Warner Bros. Discovery Access Writers Program and the Road Theatre Company’s Under Construction Playwriting Lab. Previously, Robert was awarded the Humanitas New Voices fellowship, CineStory TV fellowship, and was part of the Jewish Writer Initiative’s Digital Storyteller Lab.
