JM Lahr is a playwright from St. Louis, MO. I graduated from Webster University in St. Louis in 2005 with a B.A. in English with an emphasis in playwriting. Theatre is my passion. I work as a light tech for Tesseract Theatre in St. Louis and enjoy the theatre community that St. Louis has to offer. I won the playwright's award in 2015 at A Taste of Theater Festival in Chicago, Illinois for my 10 minute version of the piece "Real Talk". In 2016 a One-Act version of "Real Talk" will be performed as part of the St. Louis Fringe Festival. I currently work as an insurance broker and have many hobbies and interests.
