James (or J. J.) is a professional actor from the DC area. He has worked for over 25 years at theaters such as Arena Stage, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Everyman Theatre, Santa Fe Playhouse, Ford's Theatre, The Kennedy Center, and Imagination Stage. He also has extensive credits as an independent film actor and has appeared in several commercials. His first full-length play "Wannabe" premiered at the Capital Fringe Festival in 2024 and won "Best of the Fest - Audience Award." He has also co-written two award-winning short films, "Silent Partner" and "Speak Up Brotha."
