Yi Chen 辰移 (she/her) was born and raised in Keelung, Taiwan. She has a BFA in Theatre Arts from Chinese Culture University and has also studied in the Graduate Institute of Theatre Performance and Playwriting MFA Program at Taipei National University of the Arts.
As a cat person and a vegan, she enjoys observing the little paw prints animals leave in wet cement and always finds them endearing.
Her writing encompasses not only plays but also film reviews, essays, and short stories. While her work may not always be humorous or uplifting, she strives for truthfulness in words and honesty in expressing feelings.
As a member of the queer community, she hopes to stay true to herself, continually give voice to queer individuals, and leave behind gentle words for all humankind.
