Sam Lee Victor (he/him) is a playwright, producer, and actor, based in New York. His work is centered around telling trans stories that are as diverse as the community itself.
He was a Playwriting Fellow at Lambda Literary’s 2024 Writing Retreat under Roger Q. Mason. He will attend Sewanee Writers' Conference in July of 2026 as a member of their Playwriting cohort, studying under Anne Washburn, Lauren Yee, Brittany K. Allen, and Nathan Alan Davis.
His full-length play, Casual, was workshopped in New York City in 2023, produced by We Who Wander Productions. His full-length play, The Bind, was named a Finalist for the Mouths of Babes Theatre Company's 2025 Scotopia Festival.

His ten-minute play, A Disorderly House, was one of the winners of ENOUGH!: Plays to End Gun Violence’s 2023 Competition. The play was performed all over the country as part of a nationwide reading, as well as at the Kennedy Center. He has been published by Playscripts and Smith & Kraus.
He's a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), where he studied Drama.
He is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
