Late at night, little Freddy escapes to his dreams where he meets a witch and a wolf, but pretty quickly, his dreams turn into nightmares. As the dragon approaches and dreams collide with reality, Freddy is forced to grow up before he’s ready.

When non-binary and Persian professor Raj is forced to choose between moving across the country to be with their boyfriend or moving even further away to Iran to continue their research, they come face-to-face with a past they know and a past they don’t, in an exploration of Persian poetry, queer love, and cultural estrangement.

FAIRY TALES FAIRY TOLD is a queer and trans 10-minute-play anthology where modern-day people live old stories anew: remixing the familiar and the foreign, the queer and the normative, the past and the future. Silly, searing, seductive, and suspenseful, these plays ask what we're willing to give up to change our story. (While the collection is intended to be performed as a full-length work, it has also been designed so that each play can be performed/produced individually.)

Zelda won’t leave her apartment. That doesn’t make her any less trans though… right? (Rapunzel, trans, monologue play about identity and safety)

SHORT PLAY TRILOGY

From first dates to fiery finales and the moments in between, friends and lovers (and sometimes their ghosts) weave in and out of the bedroom as they uncover what it means to be queer and in love.

“Move Forward” is a comedy centering around two couples: one on a first date and the other post-breakup. “Bending the Rules” is a non-linear, dance-like, and dramatic tale of an entire relationship. “Falling” is a ghost story about the roles we’ve played in our own tragedies and the songs we sing about them.

MY VERY FIRST chronicles four first dates for four queer people of different lived experiences, stretching across time. While some dates are more successful than others, at least one partner is always experiencing something new to them, discovering what it means to put oneself out there. Comedic, fiery, poignant.
