From a small couch in a small apartment in an impossibly big city, Debbie watches the show. She does little else. She becomes increasingly obsessed with Baby’s competition trajectory. Her bizarre roommate Allan becomes increasingly obsessed with asking her for hand jobs and calling her “dude”. The line between reality and television becomes dangerously blurred. Debbie must find the strength to go outside or become one with the living room furniture forever, a decision that seems intrinsically tied to whether or not Baby can eat enough hot dogs to eke out a win.

A play for the ever-hungry and never-full, Choke is a comedy bordering on horror and an unflinching exploration of gluttony in its many modern forms.
