Breakups are hard, espcially when you are trying to get your life together as a soon to be college gradaute. With the help of the grief blocking drug Sataties Riley attempts to move on from her last relationhsip and become the “best” version of themself. But does that even exist? And is it better to run from our feelings or charge to face them head on? Everyone is running from something, and everybody uses something to cover up the feelings they wish to avoid.

what would you do if you were stuck in a room with your hero, but they were nothing like you expected them to be? In this play Ashton finds himself stuck in a storage room with his bodybuliding Idol. When the two realize they cant get out Ashton tries to make the best of the situation, trying to get to know the pessimistic and closed off Roy Ross. In trying to get to know Roy and his past Ashton finds something that he shouldnt have, and now must be the one to help his hero leave this storage room alive. The two men agrue about the culture of bodybuliding and greek mythology, eventally finding common ground in the things that they dont like to talk about. Icarus is a story about fathers and sons, and how we move on from our hardships and short comings.
