  • I Will Miss You When You're Gone

Immediately engrossing and wonderfully complex. This play explores the depths of grief in such an unusual and exciting way, and is chock full of warm hilarity. An edge-of-your-seat play where you fall immediately in love with the characters as they struggle to deal with the absurdity of life and death. Delightful, funny, and poignant, from beginning to end.

Tender and exciting, this play is a touching exploration of the places we find magic in our lives and how relationships that may (at first) seem mundane can actually be hugely mythic and profound. I never would have thought a play about LARP-ing would be so beautifully and lyrically written, or keenly examine such deep truths about our humanity, but here we are. This play is funny, heartbreaking, and absolutely epic.
  • The Lady Demands Satisfaction
    31 Mar. 2020
What a delight! High comedy married with daring swordswomanship. Each twist and turn is wonderfully surprising, and the characters are a joy to follow along with. Unlike anything I've read before, this play is hilarious, intelligent, and such a good time.

Absolutely staggering. This play is tragic and compassionate and expertly written. There is a punch in the gut waiting with every new revelation. A profound exploration of the ways we betray one another and the complex nature of love.
  • A Play about David Mamet Writing a Play about Harvey Weinstein
    11 Nov. 2019
This play is utterly singular in its boldness, cleverness, and willingness to engage with the darkest undersides of theater and playwriting. It is audacious and hilarious and BRAVE, tackling big questions with a laser-focused brilliance, yet providing no easy answers. This is a play that everyone needs to see right now.
  • ¡Mamágua!
    11 Sep. 2019
A hilarious, wild, and exceedingly clever comedy about family, faith, tradition, and the afterlife. This play shocks and delights at every turn, and you truly never know where things might go next. Expertly written with an undercurrent of mischievousness, ¡Mamágua! is a brilliant and biting take on one very fraught mother/son relationship, while still being so. much. fun.
  • Megan and the Bear Go Camping (To Solve Their Problems)
    10 Sep. 2019
This play is heartbreaking, delicate, and beautifully crafted. The characters are so easy to fall in love with, and as Megan's psyche is peeled back piece by piece, elements that seem whimsical and hilarious at first are expertly revealed to have profound meaning. A unique and exceptional look into mental illness, trauma, family, loss, and the depths we go to move on and keep living.

Magical, provocative, and dangerous, this play is all at once poetic and conversational, conceptual and tactile, and enormously wide and eerily specific. Minnicino has taken characters who have the ability to be anything and everything and presented them as precisely crafted women, each particular and extraordinary in her own right. This is a gorgeous play about sisterhood, love, magic, and, of course, fate.
  • A small breach in protocol at Big Rick's Rockin' Skydive Academy
    26 Aug. 2019
This play is a blast and a half. Electrifying, hilarious, and surprisingly tender, Hirsch expertly keeps you on the edge of your seat while his characters plummet toward the earth. You can feel the adrenaline coursing through each and every word, and by the end, you're ready to go out and do something crazy and life-affirming too. And, on top of all that, it has the coolest title ever!

This play cuts like a knife. Raw, tender, and desperately true, it captures the special alchemy of intimate friendship transcending from girlhood to womanhood, and all the ways we can deeply love and callously hurt one another. A profound and exceptional coming-of-age story.
