  • A stunning theatrical experience with plenty of magic, surprises, and twists. Brandli has a command of the stage with complex characters and juicy roles for actors. Entertaining as well as poignant.

  • Grissom's work carefully weaves vulnerability, strength, humility, and humor while allowing us to feel a part of the team in this much-needed approach to living with an invisible chronic illness. More, please.

  • There are no easy answers for this well-crafted two-hander, and thank goodness for that. Kenner Grissom gives us a poignant look at the tough choices these characters face, utilizing comedic (almost absurd) moments of uncertainty, while questioning what bonds them in friendship and womanhood. Strong roles for women, this play will have audiences sharing an intimate moment in a highly theatrical way. I can't wait to see this on stage.

  • So much focus is on the topic of gun violence, but rarely captures the aftermath in such a poignant way as MacLean does with this play. There are plenty of characters that make us question the motives of those who are "here to help". Heartbreaking, but hopeful, showing the only way to deal with grief is to break through - and that there are messages from beyond if we choose to see them.
(one of the most well-written villains is in this play - chilling!)

  • Walker's work is always satisfying, and this one fulfills that so strongly with theatrical magic. As we grasp to find the balance in how women bond, support, and sometimes clumsily survive, this play uniquely captures the struggle with no easy answers, but a catharsis that is so rich. A fresh, diverse, theatrical work that gives all collaborators a shot, will have them well-fed creatively, and will have your audiences talking about it well after the final moment. Find the women to do this play (they will savor these roles and deserve to be heard) it will not disappoint.

  • Jeanette Farr: The Escape Thingy

An amazing mystery contained in an escape room is a perfect environment to showcase our fears and questions of what is real and what is fake in this "not so distant future" play. What happens when you put five people (who are expertly written as individuals with unique voices and perspectives) in an enclosed space. I can't stop thinking about this play with its range of emotional resonance, and neither will your audiences. It is tight, and one set - but challenging enough for your designers to play. You won't look at a Groupon the same way again.

  • Jeanette Farr: O: A Rhapsody in Divorce

A bold personal exploration of a 40-something woman (which yields its own important message within the play on why we would want to see a play like that) embarking on a "reinvention" of herself. Relatable. Funny. Engaging. We need more plays like this to represent often unrepresented voices in theatre. The themes of being able to do it all while still maintaining relationships contribute to this dream-like 90 minutes. A theatrical tour-de-force for actors in your company, this play gives an audience a lot of bang for their bucks. Brandli's voice never disappoints.

  • Jeanette Farr: Through the Eye of a Needle

There is not one wasted word in Brandli's Christmastime story set in a time period and grief that we are just beginning to unpack. Perfectly slated for any part of a theatrical season, THROUGH THE EYE OF A NEEDLE flawlessly sets up a cadre of characters and their conflicts with a ticking clock of a midnight mass. Every one of those conflicts pays off - and not every solution comes wrapped up in a neat bow. Visceral and appropriately moving - it reminds us all that is good about the gifts we never expect to receive.

  • Jeanette Farr: My Body

It's no surprise this has received a lot of attention in the past - but it becomes even more relevant today with echos of all too familiar treatment of gender and discussions of how it can get better. Turning the tables in this futuristic (yet timely) subject is both a satisfying, yet cautionary tale that will surely create discussion with audiences afterwords.

  • Jeanette Farr: EIGHT NIGHTS

In it's skilled crafting, EIGHT NIGHTS seamlessly weaves tradition and theatricality in a warm blanket of storytelling, allowing the audience to share with their own family the necessary preservation of the past, while staying in the ever present idea of living and surviving. This play begs you to bring your family to the theatre.
