Anikka Lekven is an award-winning Texas-based playwright and theatre producer. Her writing has been supported by the Mid America Theatre Conference, Sewanee Writers’ Conference, Scriptworks, and Ground Floor Theatre Writes. Her full-length plays include HUNGRY TEENAGE TRACK STARS (Winner of Best Original Script from Austin Theatre Critics), A DOCTOR’S VISIT (GFT Writes), and A TEXAS JESUS ABORTION PLAY (O’Neill Theatre Conference Semifinalist, Lanford Wilson Festival Finalist, Distillery New Works Festival Short List, Mid America Theatre Conference).
