David Narter

David Narter is a teacher and host of the monthly show for educators, “Detention Hall.” He is the author of "The Worst Baby Name Book" and "Don’t Name Your Baby", and has appeared on CNN and ABC-7 talking about them. It didn't go well. His essays have appeared in English Journal and The Book Group Book, and he is a frequent contributor to The Heckler.

His short play, "Sharpies" was selected for and printed in Smith and Krauss's "Best Ten-Minute Plays of 2019", and his full length, "#krazyman," was a semi-finalist for the 2019 National Playwrights Conference - O'Neill.

When the video of Krasimir being chased out of his apartment goes viral, he finds
himself stuck on the roof of a convenience store. Meanwhile, his sister, filming a
documentary of Krasimir, leverages their new found virtual celebrity by livestreaming
and partnering with corporations and charitable causes. But as multiple accounts and
copycat profiles proliferate, Krasimir and his friends find their messages and...
