Margo Hammond

Margo’s plays have been presented in London, Milan, NYC, Colorado Springs, San Diego, Abingdon, VA and at various other theatres across the U.S. Her play “Mistress Marlene” is published in Smith & Kraus’ “Best Ten-Minute Plays of 2015” and her play “Mae the Magnificent” received 1st Place (The Standing Ovation Award) in their 2019 anthology. Margo’s full-length, “Let Maisy Rest In Peace” was part of Barter Theatre’s Appalachian Festival of New Plays 2019. Also 1st Prize recipient of the Jerry Kaufman Award for Excellence in Playwriting 2016.

How did that happen? A private investigator...

He is drawn to Enish’s astonishing lectures and so decides to bring this stranger home to meet his worried wife Ruth. Ruth has some eye-opening discoveries as she undergoes an encounter with this mystery guest and galactic insights.

Mandy complains that he can no longer enjoy his favorite view because of this “monstrosity”. His middle-aged daughter, Sandra, thinks the statue is amusing and she “sort of likes it”. Two teenagers arrive to admire the art, as their teacher has instructed, for a school...

The three opinions feed an amusing argument that brings these three generations together in an agreement to charmingly disagree.
