Bea and Ray are emergency room nurses out for a break. Bea is smoking and Ray reminds her that smoking can kill you. Bea responds that her plan is to counter every bad habit with another equally bad habit. They reminisce about the past when they just had heart attacks and strokes. A gallows humor allows them to laugh and cry as they return to the impending deaths of their patients.
