Plays

  • Captain Aurora
Abel is sent to this world as a brighter orb than the others. It makes him different. It gives him super powers the rest of the world calls "a disability." While everyone around him tries to help him fit in, and make him "normal," it takes a special someone to understand Abel's powers and celebrate him for who he is.
  • A Froggy Becomes
Bumpy Diggs, a scrappy little boyish weirdo, gives us a close-up firsthand account of how she survived 1987, that joyously horrible year she crawled out from under the violence and oppression of seventh grade. A memory play told through magical realism; giant puppets, flying priests, dances to Madonna, Satan worshippers, sparkling confetti, and a science fair project gone awry.
  • In Stitches
"In Stitches" is a heartfelt comedy inspired by real people and events following a group of old-timey southern ladies who've been quilting together for the last two decades. When Alex, a modern gen-X hipster with her own set of problems is commissioned to write their stories, the dynamic of the group shifts. This clash of characters reminds us of the value of wisdom, the importance of friendship, and the power of love.
