Victoria M. Fragnito is an actor, director, and playwright. Her acting career has included regional theatre, touring companies, and independent films. She attended DeSales University and worked closely with PA Shakespeare, assistant directing many critically acclaimed productions (Midsummer, Sweeney Todd, Romeo & Juliet, and more). Her debut play Scar Tissue has had a workshop production at Dixon Place with their “Works in Progress'' series, was selected for the historic Old Joint Stock Theatre’s “Open Doors” program in the U.K. for Women’s History Month, won Best Dramatic Script at SheNYC’s 2021 Festival and had its NYC premiere at The Players Theatre. You can find copies of Scar Tissue and the rights to productions at Next Stage Press. Her new play, With Dignity, has had developmental opportunities with The Bechdel Group, The Tank as part of their CyberTank series, as well as The Barrow Group’s First Fridays program for Women’s History Month, and was a semi-finalist for the 2023 O’Neill National Playwrights Conference.
