Joe Thristino is a writer based in Brooklyn. His original play, Bringer of Doom, premiered at The Players Theatre in April 2023 and is set for its first Off-Broadway run at the same venue in July 2024. He is a writer for the upcoming animated YouTube series Bad Guy vs. Bad Guy, a script writer for BabyBus, a staff writer for cultural magazine Tawk of New Yawk, and his fiction has appeared in Writer's Digest and Prometheus Dreaming. He's been a shortlisted finalist for The Ambassador Theater Group's Playwrights Prize and at The Tennessee Williams Play Festival (Best One Act, Release Note). His stage work has been performed at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Dixon Place, Times Square Arts Center, and the National Comedy Theater (NY), among others.
