Ali is a writer and producer based in NYC. Ali's theatrical works have been developed with, produced or presented at The Workshop Theater, The TANK Limefest, Live Arts Theater, HARP Theatricals, The COW Community, Stillwater Writers Group, The Brighton Fringe Festival, Skeleton Rep, The Assembly Hall at Judson Memorial Church, New York Musical Festival, The Dramatists Guild, and IRT. In 2022 she earned her first commission with Alt teller Ingenting, a Norwegian theatre company that toured her mental health focused play, Christen the Place across Norway. In 2023 she completed her first residency with ForgeFuel. Previously she has been a semifinalist for SPACE on Ryder Farm, The Mitten Lab, and Primary Stages ESPA-Drills. She has a BA from Bucknell University, was a TA and Rockwell Scholar at ESPA at Primary Stages, is an affiliate Dramaturg with Beehive Dramaturgy and is in the advanced BMI Librettist program.
