William Bivins is an award-winning playwright, screenwriter, and producer. His plays have been produced in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berkeley, and Anchorage, and include "The Afterlife of the Mind,”"The Apotheosis of Pig Husbandry,” “The Education of a Rake,” “The Position,” “Ransom, Texas,” and “Pulp Scripture” (which was also adapted into a radio play). He is a winner of the Hyperion Project Original Play Competition, the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Original Script, and eight San Francisco Fringe Festival Awards. “Rio Sangre,” a screenplay he co-wrote with Ken Karn, is in development. He is currently working on “Horseman,” a gothic horror film inspired by the legend of Sleepy Hollow.
