Jared Michael Delaney is a stage/screen writer & actor based in Philadelphia Pa. His plays have been further presented in readings across the country and developed in writers’ groups Athena Writes and The Foundry. He has presented work at the Valdez Theatre Conference and Sewanee Writers' Conference.     Anders & Margaret Mary have been married more than 25 years, living on the edge of civilization in Alaska. When Margaret Mary receives a diagnoses that changes the arc of her life, she, Anders and their friends David and Raina (newer to Alaska and to each other) must grapple with the new choices presented to them and who has the right to make them.

    After noted Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez, bites another player during a match, a rash of biting breaks out amongst the youth soccer leagues of England. Two mothers from different backgrounds unite to do something to stop this purge and end embroiled in something far greater.
  • American Carnage
    When a US senator mistakenly declares he has people of color on his staff, his aides poach a staffer from another office, drafting her into working for the Senator. But when she implements policy changes to the Senator’s agenda without his approval or knowledge, the aides are left trying to put out the fire. If they can. A play about guerrilla politics, of the best and worst kind.

    1969. New York City. Two friends, Wreck and Martha, embark on a night of music and adventure when they go see The Rolling Stones in concert. But things go slightly askew when Wreck drops some acid to counter-act a...condition he has. Then things get pretty weird. Well. Weirder. Does the devil dress like a Viking?
  • Is That a Dali?
    When a man gives in to a bizarre temptation to steal a rare painting of Dali, he suddenly finds his reality bending in ways he didn't expect and can't explain. Especially the part about Greek mythology. Inspired by true events.

    A retelling of the myth, with reference to the 1960s Ray Harryhausen film and leaning into the "sequel" of Medea, this new version highlights the adventure and spectacle of Jason's quest to find the Golden Fleece (complete with the Harpies, the Skeleton Army and the Argo.)

    When the military hires a production team to produce propaganda ads for their new Space Force division, the shoots become the victims of repeated sabotage, leading to an official investigation of events that gets...well...really really strange. (Written prior the Netflix series, hand to God.)
  • Pontiff Blues, or, the Smoke Break
    Two members of the Swiss Guard, a rookie and a vet, have drawn the dull duty of guarding the door during the Papal Conclave. To pass the time, they start trading stories. And then the rookie learns a secret which could rock the world to its knees.
