Wendy-Marie Martin earned her M.F.A. Playwriting from the Playwright’s Lab at Hollins University and holds a B.F.A. in Acting as well as a graduate certificate in directing new work. She has performed, written, taught and directed theater in the U.S. and Europe for almost twenty years. Her work has been produced in Germany, The Netherlands, Australia, Ireland, Japan and across the United States as well. Wendy-Marie is founder & Executive Producer of The Red Eye 10s International Play Festival, which features original work for young audiences. Wendy-Marie is currently pursuing her PhD in Interdisciplinary Arts/Theatre at Ohio University with a focus in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, TCG, ATHE, The Playwrights’ Center and a board member for the International Centre for Women Playwrights.
